Welcome to Freshwater Fosters – our little big way of helping our community – one pup at a time!
Danielle is a part-time Vet-Tech and has dedicated much of her life to the care of animals. We both love our pets deeply and have found ourselves often talking about wanting to foster dogs to help them find their forever homes.
After a recent trip to Peru, where the amount of homeless animals was staggering, we knew as soon as we returned home, what we needed to do. Our goal with Freshwater Fosters is to provide a safe and loving environment for pups, young & old, as we use our voice to help find their perfect family.
Once we have a dog in need in our care, we will share to this page and our social media outlets, in hopes that together we can find the perfect space for them to live their best life possible.
If you are seriously interested in adopting one of our fosters, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line "FW Fosters – Inquiry of (insert dog's name)" and we will send you information on the application process. This process is in conjunction with two National rescues that have helped MANY dogs find their forever homes. It will also be thorough, as our fosters will not be going home with just anyone. Serious inquires ONLY please and thank you!
TOPHER - Adopted!! :)
Australian Shepard • 7 Months Old • Cuddly, Goofy & Loving Boy!
Topher is a super fun, happy young Aussie who is ready for his new home! This 7 month old weighs 45 pounds and has a beautiful black bi coat and a white-tipped tail. Topher is housebroken, crate-trained, knows some basic commands and walks very nicely on a leash. He is also a great passenger in the car.
Topher absolutely loves people and has never met a stranger. He is a medium Velcro dog who wants to be in your lap anytime you will let him, but he is also happy just being in your general area. Topher is still quite the puppy and does get excited around people, so he would be too much puppy for very young children. Topher loves to play and he really loves to play with other dogs. He is a medium energy puppy – he will play hard and then he naps hard! Topher loves water, walks, chew toys, pretty much everything! He has not shown too much interest in cats, but we are not sure you can trust a lively, curious puppy like Topher with cats.
Topher’s ideal home is with an active family who is ready for lots of fun, and who will also continue his training so that he moves easily from being a great puppy to the greatest dog ever! A fenced yard and another dog to play with are also at the top of his wish list. If Topher is exactly the dog you have been looking for apply today! Topher is fostered in North Augusta, SC.
